This newly opened Ivorian restaurant brings West African grilling culture to the DMV. The group got a chance to try Ivorian grilled chicken, beef and shrimp kabobs, jollof rice, attiéke, plantains, and more! To top off dinner, the group talked directly to owner Duraine Kouassi, who grew up grilling for his extended family back in Côte d’Ivoire before moving to the U.S. for college and developing a cult following grilling every weekend at Eastern Market.
